Supporting Amplify CKLA students at home

Dear educator,

Given that schools and districts may be closing for shorter or longer periods of time over the next few weeks, we know that parents and guardians may be playing an even greater role in supporting their students’ reading development. To that end, we’ve put together a short list of steps you can follow to maximize the learning that happens at home.

Steps to help parents support students at home:

  1. Download this letter (it gives parents a quick way to find mCLASS activities they can use at home with their child).
  2. Decide if you will write students’ names and fill in check boxes to help parents choose appropriate activities (at the bottom of the letter).
  3. Remove text below the dotted line of the letter if needed.
  4. Print letters.
  5. Optional: write students’ names and fill in check boxes.
  6. Send the letters home with students.

In the coming weeks, we will provide you with more information about how to continue supporting students with mCLASS resources.
