Amplify Texas ELAR and SLAR are launching several new and exciting features for K–5 educators this school year! These updates will save time, extend reach, and support teachers’ efforts to deliver the riveting learning experiences students need to build their literacy skills and background knowledge.
Updates
Educator and Student Home expansion
Educator and Student Home landing pages will be available for all Amplify program users. With a single unified landing page (called Home) for all Amplify products, users can access all programs to which they’re licensed.
High-quality professional development
Amplify’s professional development (PD) provides a variety of learning experiences over multiple years to incrementally develop and apply the knowledge and skills needed for effective and self-sustaining implementation. Professional development programming includes packages or sessions with a variety of on-site or virtual modalities that orient you to the full features of your Amplify program.
PD Library
All professional development (PD) content is being consolidated into the PD Library, a one-stop hub for all your self-paced PD needs. The PD Library icon is located in the Program & Apps menu. And if you’re using both ELAR and SLAR, we have new resources for you! On our PD Library, the Amplify ELAR+SLAR icon in the top bar will bring you to a page dedicated to planning and implementation support.

Noteworthy features
Texas Intervention Toolkit for ELAR
At your fingertips are additional Amplify ELAR Texas instructional resources to provide tiered support for your students. This site has two sections: Home and Intervention Toolkit. On the Home page, you will find beginning-of-year placement assessment materials and mid-year assessment materials. These materials include assessment materials, administration directions, and scoring and placement information. The Intervention Toolkit page includes resources in specific skill areas for planning instruction, teaching, and monitoring student progress. All materials are downloadable and printable for ease of use.
